Softball Austin’s mission is to offer the Central Texas gay, lesbian, bi-sexual, transgendered (GLBT) community, and the greater Austin community, the opportunity to experience and enjoy recreational softball in a competitive, inclusive and affirming environment. Softball Austin organizes, promotes and supports athletic, social, cultural and charitable activities in Central Texas.

To be a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering amateur softball sports competition for all persons regardless of age, race, creed, religion, sex, national origin or sexual orientation, with special emphasis on participation of members of the GLBT community.

To encourage the education and training in proper skills of athletics and good sportsmanship by promoting, organizing and conducting softball related-clinics, seminars and training courses.
