Submit Your Member Spotlight

We’d love to feature people from across the Softball Austin community in our Member Spotlight series. Share as much or as little as you like; short answers are welcome, and most people finish in about 10 minutes. We may publish your spotlight on the Softball Austin website and, if you say yes below, also share it in the league newsletter or on social media.

How It Works

  1. Answer as many questions as you like and send the form.
  2. A league volunteer shapes your answers into a short Member Spotlight and may lightly edit them for length, clarity, spelling, and grammar.
  3. Once it’s ready, we publish it on the website and email you the link. If you chose, we also share it in the league newsletter or on social media.

Questions marked * are required. Everything else is optional.

Before We Publish

Choose how your spotlight appears and where we may share it.

Can we publish your spotlight on the Softball Austin website?*
We may lightly edit for length, clarity, spelling, and grammar.
How should your name appear?*
Example: Jane Doe, Jane D., Jane, or J.D.
Should search engines like Google be able to show your spotlight?*
People can still visit it on the Softball Austin website or through a shared link.
For example: "Use my nickname only" or "Please don't use my photo on social media."
More about privacy and sharing
  • Keeping your spotlight out of search results does not make it private. Anyone with the link can still visit it.
  • Search engines can take a while to catch up after a change.
  • A full name is easier for people to recognize, and more likely to show up in search, than a first name or initials.
  • Newsletter and social media posts are separate from the website, so they may show up in search even if your spotlight does not.
  • When we edit, we will not change the meaning of your answers.
  • You can ask us to update your spotlight later.
