Open C: Doughboys move into first
ATX Doughboys lead Open C at 3-1 after winning both of their games, 11-9 over ATX Fusion C and 9-3 over Flying Chanclas. They have also allowed the fewest runs in the division, 29.
Flying Chanclas beat Fusion C 8-5 for their first win of the season. Fusion C lost both of its games and is 2-2 after starting 2-0. Five of the six Open C games this season have been decided by three runs or fewer, and the Doughboys and Fusion C meet again at 2 pm on September 27.

ATX Storm beat ATX Dillos 14-8 and Ball’rz 15-2 and is the only unbeaten team in Open D. Storm has scored 54 runs, 20 more than any other team in the division.
Four teams are tied at 2-2: ATX Polar Bears, Jawbreakers, Ball’rz, and Ghostrunners. Jawbreakers lost 7-0 to the Polar Bears, then beat Ball’rz by the same score, and have allowed 18 runs, the fewest in Open D. Open E: Polar Bears stay unbeaten
ATX Polar Bears are 4-0 after beating Y’all Stars 7-4 and ATX Trash Pandas E 15-11. The 15-11 game was the first loss of the season for the Trash Pandas, who are 3-1 after a 16-10 win over Austin Outlaws.
Ball’rz Too is also 3-1 after winning both of its games, 13-6 over Loose Angels and 11-7 over the Outlaws. Its 24 runs on Sunday are four times its Week 1 total. Y’all Stars have allowed 25 runs, the fewest in Open E, and all four of their losses were by four runs or fewer.
